In the 1970's it was imported into the UK with the intention of restoring it but the work was not completed and it spent the next 15 years rusting away on a farm. In 1997 the present owners brought it and restoration began in earnest. The timber was found to be Burmese Oak and has been replaced with the same wood. The only saveable part of the cab was the angle iron frame, which has now been copper riveted. The front mudguards and stays, radiator casting, front and rear axles, wheel centres, gearbox, steering box and most of the chassis are all original.
